Everything is at stake - not just for Iran

Everything is at stake - not just for Iran

The world is hurtling towards an abyss. Trump has made it clear that the US is even more incapable of handling its own problems than it was under Biden. Peaceful coexistence with others has become a distant vision of the world.

Introduction

If humanity survives the crisis that has begun with the invasion of Iran by Israel and the USA and which threatens to influence events in the world far beyond Iran and Israel, historians and teachers will one day explain to their students and pupils that on Friday, June 13, 2025, the international post-war order created after the Second World War - the much-cited so-called international law - finally ceased to exist.

This order, established by the United Nations Charter and subsequently defined in writing by a myriad of international treaties, is based on a hard-won minimum level of trust between states. It has been put to the test time and again by breaches of the law and wars. But probably never before since 1945 has the world been lied to so demonstratively, arrogantly and so deliberately as Israel in the person of its Prime Minister Netanyahu and the USA in the person of its President Trump did on June 13, 2025. As "statesmen", they told the world public in all seriousness that they had to attack Iran pre-emptively in order to protect Israel. Iran, a country that has not attacked another country for ages and is not at all geared towards offensive warfare.

Outside the G7 and its dependent states, the USA has lost all political credit with this action, especially with Iran, China and Russia, but also with Pakistan and large parts of Africa, for example. It is impossible to predict how massive the political upheaval will be worldwide as a result of this unmasking of the hegemonic interests of the USA and its vassals live and in real time.

Israel's war against Iran could last a long time. It will divide the world in a way that we are not able to admit to ourselves today.

The White House is politically naked

For years now, the global public has been accustomed to lies based on the deliberate distortion of facts from Israel. However, the American president's blatant lies in connection with the war against Iran launched by Israel are of an unprecedented quality. His mockery of the Iranian scientists and politicians who fell victim to deliberate murder will change the political coexistence of nations. His narcissistic personality simply did not allow the US President to stand aside when the Israeli Prime Minister announced his supposed victory on June 13, 2025. He simply couldn't help but tell the world: Yes, but it wasn't possible without us.

The West against Iran

The genie was out of the bottle - the USA was directly involved in the planning and execution of the Israeli attack on Iran.

Days before the attack, it supplied the Hellfire missiles with which the Iranian scientists were executed.

They provided intelligence information. They refueled the Israeli bombers over Syria, which in itself is a massive violation of international law. We hear that the German war spirit has now also awakened, so that the German government is also sending its planes.

The US was and is also instrumental in detecting and identifying the missiles and drones fired by Iran in response to Israel.

The following map shows the radar bases under US control in the Middle East. Without the USA, Israel would not be able to "see" Iran at all.

But the involvement of the USA does not end here. US fighter jets are actively involved in combating Iranian drones and missiles. This does not take place in Israeli airspace, but in the skies of Iraq, Syria and Jordan. Their NATO colleagues from the UK and France are helping them to the best of their ability.

Off the coast of Israel, the US destroyer USS Thomas Hudner, which was ordered there at short notice from the western Mediterranean for this purpose, is taking on this task.

The West's open support for Israel's war against Iran therefore goes far beyond the "usual" level in Ukraine.

It is also noticeable on the diplomatic front that the NATO states are acting in concert. France, Great Britain and Germany published a practically identical condemnation - not of the Israeli attack on Iran, but of Iran's defense against the attack.

The West is also helping Israel in other ways. In anticipation of strong Iranian reactions, Israel moved its civilian aircraft to Cyprus and military aircraft to a British airbase in Cyprus.

However, close observation of the details of Israel's support also reveals facts relevant to the Ukraine conflict.

The withdrawal of US Patriot air defense systems from Ukraine to Israel, which has been made public in recent days, proves in its own way that Ukraine is only a means to an end for the USA in the undeclared war against Russia. It also shows that Ukraine clearly has no sovereignty over the weapons supplied to it by the West. Only those who are in control, who hold the strings in their hands, can withdraw weapons systems relevant to the war at will.

The IAEA - a field office of NATO, CIA and MI-6

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) is a specialized agency of the UN. According to its statute, it is committed to the peaceful and safe use of nuclear energy and has created the internationally applicable standards for this. Unfortunately, like almost all UN sub-organizations and international sports organizations - such as the IOC and FIFA - and organizations such as the OSCE, it also has another, darker side. All of these organizations have been infiltrated by the West and have thus become a pawn in its insatiable quest for unipolar world domination.

The IAEA's activities in relation to Iran are more reminiscent of the mafia than of a once reputable international organization. Iran has once again had to pay dearly for its openness towards it and its inspectors.

In the light of events, the IAEA's Iran resolution of June 12, 2025 looks like a document ordered by NATO and Israel. It accuses Iran of deliberately violating agreements with the IAEA. In practice, Iran did not even have time to respond to the accusations within a reasonable period of time. In addition, Iran promised itself a decisive breakthrough on the nuclear issue at the negotiations planned with the USA in Oman on June 15, 2025. To this end, it publicly declared in advance that it was prepared to meet practically all the demands made of it.

However, the US used these planned negotiations as a cover for the aggression it had launched against Iran with Israel on June 12, 2025.

And there is another frightening detail: a few days before the attack, the Iranian secret service made it public that it had captured explosive documents on Israel's nuclear program. In the documents, the Iranians found the personal data of the Iranian nuclear scientists who were murdered by Israel on June 12, 2025 with Hellfire missiles, for example, and who were supposed to be part of the Iranian delegation in Oman on June 15, 2025.

The captured documents state that Israel had received this data from the IAEA - data that led to the immediate death of the scientists.

Why are Israel and the USA escalating now?

The preparations for the attack on Iran were long-term, as Israeli officials readily admitted. The date of the attack was therefore no coincidence.

In view of the planned nuclear negotiations between the USA and Iran in Oman, the Iranians were evidently convinced of the Americans' good will. They were expecting a possible Israeli military attack, but AFTER the negotiations. And above all, they did not expect an attack from within their own country.

One of Israel's major goals was and is to drag the USA into the war with Iran. Because without the USA, Israel is not in a position to defeat Iran conventionally.

The following facts make it clear that the USA had to be deeply involved in the planning of the attack. In order to "hold Iran accountable" for its nuclear research, a conflict had to be provoked by October 2025. This is because the treaty between the IAEA and Iran expires in October 2025. After it expires, Iran is free to do whatever it sees fit.

Another important point for the war date is the fact that the USA will lose control of Iraqi airspace as early as September 2025 in accordance with a contract with the Iraqi government. Without this control, Israel would have had to plan completely differently.

But these are tactical considerations before the big strategic goal.

Iran is a key BRICS state. And BRICS itself represents a huge challenge for the entire West economically, socially and politically. This group of states is superior to the West in practically all key parameters. In addition, the BRICS are closely intertwined with OPEC and the African and Asian states.

In recent months, there have been repeated attempts by the West to ensnare or put pressure on one BRICS member or another. The recent conflict between Pakistan and India also has aspects of this.

Israel and the USA want to kill two birds with one stone. Regime change would restore the desired Western order in the Middle East, including long-cherished access to Iran's natural resources. At the same time, it would be a sensitive blow to the BRICS group. About Facts and Figures re BRICS - see our article "BRICS – facts and figures".

A lesson for Russia

Russia is likely to have followed the way in which the USA betrayed Iran very closely. This action will have opened the eyes of even the last doubters in Russian politics to Donald Trump and the nature of American advances towards Russia.

If Iran were to break away from BRICS, Russia would face considerable problems. The desired north-south transport corridor from the north of Russia via Azerbaijan and Iran to India cannot be realized without Iran.

Without Iran, China will lose what is currently its largest supplier of natural gas. It was probably no coincidence that Israel has just set fire to the world's largest gas field in Iran.

Without Iran, BRICS loses its internal stability.

The real target of the attack is therefore not Iran, it is BRICS. This will also lead to corresponding considerations and decisions in Moscow and Beijing.

It will be a struggle between the giants - the West versus BRICS, including the global South. The economic indicators speak in favor of BRICS, which could well lead a wounded West to resort to the last resort - the nuclear bomb.

How will Iran react?

The history of relations with the West is long and painful for Iran. Britain and the USA have not only once forcibly changed the course of history in this resource-rich country, or attempted to do so. The Western coup against the democratically elected Mossadegh government in 1953 has had repercussions right up to the present day.

Iran therefore has good reason to distrust the West's offers, especially as the choice is between plague and cholera, between capitulation with regime change or economic subjugation. The latter option implies regime change.

The events of the last few hours and days will possibly motivate Iran to build a nuclear bomb after all. This is not a confirmation of the West, but a painful lesson. After all, Israel and the USA would not have dared to attack Iran in the face of an Iranian nuclear bomb.

Professor Marandi from Tehran University refers to Iranian history in an interview. At difficult stages in its history, Iran was not dependent on individuals. There have been repeated attacks from outside on leading politicians and military commanders with the aim of changing the country's development. In the Iraq war, the president was killed, then the prime minister and many military commanders, without the goals associated with the killings being achieved.

In his view, Iranians are clearly behind the country's leadership despite all the problems. "The country is united in a way I have never seen before."

And so he concludes:

"We need to make sure that this was a mistake and that nothing like this ever happens again. Iran's relations with the West will change fundamentally."

Outlook

The destruction of the international order, the destruction of international law, is in full swing. When there is no more trust, when treaties, law and justice no longer apply, then it is tantamount to a return to the law of the fist. A return to the power of the strongest.

When Europe once overcame this principle of the might of the strongest, the year was 1648. After 30 years of war, people finally came to their senses.

The West, which developed from the Europe of the Peace of Westphalia, finds itself in a phase of political and cultural degeneration, i.e. decline, regression and degeneration, given the realities of the year 2025. If the law of the fist, the power of the strongest, seems to be becoming the dominant political agenda again, then we are back at the level of the late Middle Ages. What can we expect next?
