Marco Fernandes holds a BA and a Master’s degree in History, and a PhD in Social Psychology from the University of São Paulo. He is the Brazilian Representative to the BRICS Civil Council and a geopolitical analyst for the online media outlet Brasil de Fato. He also serves as co-editor of the journal Wenhua Zongheng International and is frequently invited to provide political commentary across Chinese, Russian, and Brazilian media. Previously based in Shanghai and Beijing between 2020 and 2025, he now resides in Moscow.
