Dr. iur. et lic. phil. Andreas Mylaeus, born 1950. 1968/69 one-year school stay with high school certificate in Goldsboro, North Carolina, US. 1970 Abitur, 1971 to 1976 law studies in Freiburg i. Br, Cologne and Munich, 1975 First State Law Examination in Munich with honors, 1977 - 1979 legal trainee in Bavaria and at the same time scholarship holder of the Max Planck Institute for Foreign and International Patent, Copyright and Competition Law in Munich, 1980 Second State Law Examination in Munich with honors with elective subject group economics/finance.

1979 - 1984 Studied psychology and adult psychopathology at the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Zurich; graduated as a clinical psychologist. From the mid-1970s, parallel to his traineeship and university studies, he trained at the Psychological Training and Counseling Center - headed by Friedrich Liebling (the so-called “Zurich School of Psychology”).

1983 Doctorate from the Faculty of Law at the University of Munich with a thesis on § 1 of the Act Against Unfair Competition.

Own psychological counseling practice in Zurich from 1984 to 1995.

Moved to Munich in 1995, admitted to the bar in Germany and from 1996 to 2015 lawyer and partner in a medium-sized law firm in Munich, from 2006 as a specialist lawyer for construction and architectural law, specializing in real estate transactions.

Since then, freelance analyst for international relations and speaker on contemporary issues. Hobbies (apart from his grandchildren, who take priority): Model railroad and ocean sailing. Speaks German, Swiss German and English.
